The name Glamdring™ translates to “foehammer” in ancient Elvish, and its cross guard bears inscriptions in Elvish runes that proclaim, “Turgon, King of Gondolin, wields, has, and holds the sword Glamdring, Foe of Morgoth’s realm, Hammer of the Orcs.”
