Description
Although most Viking swords typically have double-edged blades, there are historical instances of single-edged blades with an upswept point. The Cold Steel One Edge Viking Sword isn’t a direct replica of any specific historical sword but rather draws on some of the finest features of Viking sword craftsmanship. Its 30-inch blade, nearly 2 inches wide, includes a wide fuller for added strength. The blade widens near the guard and tapers towards its upswept point, designed for speed, balance, and responsiveness. The hilt is traditional in style, featuring a modest guard and relatively short quillons.
Wrapped in brown cord, the wood grip ends with a substantial pommel, accented with copper trim wire. This design enhances the sword’s balance, ensuring it feels quick and agile in the hand.
