Description

Inspired by the ornate designs of antique Persian blades, Cold Steel’s Scimitar is a true gem from the East! Its elegant blade, with a deep curve designed for powerful draw cuts, is polished to perfection and features a wide, deep fuller. Crafted from expertly heat-treated 1055 carbon steel, the blade is perfectly balanced and sharpened to a fine edge. The Scimitar’s large S-guard and tang are intricately engraved, complementing the dark rosewood handle scales, which are securely fastened with three sturdy brass pins. The rounded pommel includes a brass-inlaid hole for attaching a cord, lanyard, or sash. The Scimitar comes complete with a thick, hand-stitched leather scabbard, featuring etched steel throat, chape, and carrying rings.
