cotton cord. The blade is full tang and fitted to the handle with two
mekugi (wooden pegs).

This hand forged high carbon steel sword depicts the beauty of the samurai katana of old, with detail crane's in flight through the morning mist on the tsuba and the matching kozuki knife that gently fits into the saya. Finished in antiqued styled silver both the tsuba and kozuki seat together. The fuchi & kashiri (handle pommels) are detailed with the 'Tomoe Mon' (samurai crest) which is one the more traditional historical Japanese mon's. Genuine 'same gawa' (ray skin) tight handle wrap with high quality brown/tan cotton ito. Black lacquered wood saya. Complete with sword bag The high carbon hand forged tempered blade feature a full bo hi (groove) for improved balance and cutting capability.
